Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PhantomScan ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

PhantomScan is a privacy-focused document scanning application that provides:

• Document scanning and digitization
• Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
• PDF creation and editing
• Digital signature capabilities
• AES-256 document encryption
• Document organization and management

License Grant

What You Can Do

• Download and install the App on devices you own or control
• Use the App for personal or business document management
• Create, edit, and store documents using the App's features

What You Cannot Do

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to bypass any security features
• Sublicense, rent, or lease the App to others

User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PhantomScan only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for:

• All content you scan, create, or store using the App
• Ensuring you have the right to digitize documents you scan
• Maintaining the security of your device and any passwords you set
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

Prohibited Uses

You may not use PhantomScan to:

• Scan or store illegal content
• Violate intellectual property rights of others
• Forge or falsify documents
• Engage in any fraudulent activity
• Distribute malware or harmful code

Intellectual Property

Our Property

PhantomScan, including its code, design, features, and branding, is owned by PhantomScan and protected by intellectual property laws. This includes:

• The PhantomScan name and logo
• App design and user interface
• Proprietary algorithms and technology
• Documentation and marketing materials

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all documents and content you create or scan using PhantomScan. We claim no rights to your content.

Subscription & Payments

Free Features

PhantomScan offers core scanning functionality for free.

Premium Features

Additional features may be available through one-time purchases or subscription plans (monthly or annual).

Payment Terms

• Payments are processed through Apple App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date
• Manage subscriptions through your App Store account settings
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified of changes before their next billing cycle.

Disclaimers

"As Is" Service

PhantomScan is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or reliability.

OCR Accuracy

While we strive for high accuracy, OCR technology is not perfect. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of recognized text, especially for important documents.

Device Compatibility

We cannot guarantee compatibility with all devices or operating system versions. Check system requirements before purchase.

Limitation of Liability

Maximum Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PhantomScan's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Exclusions

We are not liable for loss of data or documents, device damage or malfunction, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits or business opportunities, or actions of third-party services you connect to.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important documents, device security and access control, and any consequences of sharing documents.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PhantomScan, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or content you create or store using the App.

Termination

By You

You may stop using PhantomScan at any time by deleting the App from your device and cancelling any active subscriptions.

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms, use the App for illegal purposes, or engage in activity that harms us or other users.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends, you lose access to premium features, and your locally stored documents remain on your device.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through in-app notifications, email (if provided), or App Store update notes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mersin, Turkey.

General Provisions

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PhantomScan. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. We may assign these Terms. You may not assign your rights without our consent.
